Quilt show in Adel

Adel Quilting & Dry Goods Co is "The Little Quilt Shop on the Prairie" located at 909 Prairie Street in Adel, IA Plan to spend the day in Adel June 22 or 23. This is called the LITTLE SISTERS Quilt show because of all the quilts being hung outside and it is not as big as the Sisters, OR show the second Saturday in July. Anyone is welcome to hang a quilt in this show. It just must be done and it will hang outside. Customers vote on their favorites which are photographed for our calendar. Plan to spend the day in Adel June 22 or 23. The quilt shop will have a large selection of quilts and related items made by Quilt Circle of Friends members that will be for sale. All proceeds are donated to the Adel Library. Always a fun brunch or lunch available at Brick Street Books and Cafe on the Adel Square.

Paducah Day 4 Going Home

Packed up the car and left Paducah at 8:15.  Cool and cloundy weather.  As we drove thru St. Louis, the top of the arch was invisible.  Ran into ran showers.  At Hannibal Mo we detoured to the historic downtown area where the quilt shop Hickory Stick is.  The shop is open even on Sunday, except Mother's Day.
Arrival time home was 6:30 pm.  It was a great quilt adventure.
