Ironing Board cover

Here is a link to a tutorial on making an ironing board cover. http://sewmuchgood.blogspot.com/2012/05/iron-board-cover-fast-and-easy.html Go fancy or plain. This looks easy to do. This is from a fairly new blogger. I like the pictures and easy directions she has posted. Check it out. Maybe save it in favorites and go back to it. Happy Memorial Day.

Riley Blake Fabrics

Here is a link for a blog by the designers at Riley Blake Fabrics.  They sure have some cute patterns that they post weekly. This week is a sunflower pincushion.    Cute fabric too.  Betty M. is a fan and told me about them.  Robinsons has some of their fabric.  Check it out.

Paducah Day 4 Going Home

Packed up the car and left Paducah at 8:15.  Cool and cloundy weather.  As we drove thru St. Louis, the top of the arch was invisible.  Ran into ran showers.  At Hannibal Mo we detoured to the historic downtown area where the quilt shop Hickory Stick is.  The shop is open even on Sunday, except Mother's Day.   www.hickorystickquiltshop.com
Arrival time home was 6:30 pm.  It was a great quilt adventure.
